  • Diagnosis This is the first stage carried out by the dentist, as they need to assess the patient's teeth to determine what needs to be improved.
  • Highlight This is the second important stage of the GBT protocol. After removing plaque, calculus is easier to detect.
  • Motivation this is the next stage in GBT technology where the dentist insists and instructs the patient on oral health care.
  • Airflow This is the 4th stage in carrying out the procedure. AIRFLOW removes plaque, stains, and recent tartar, cleans and polishes in one procedure. The EMS powders used in this step have a much lower degree of abrasion than traditional mechanical debridement techniques, such as rubber cups and manual scaling.
  • The treatment continues with Perioflow through which bacterial plaque is removed from periodontal pockets, on natural teeth in deep pockets, at root furcations and on implants if applicable.
  • Piezon This is called the next stage, in which any remaining traces of tartar are removed and a further cleaning takes place around the implants and prosthetic restorations.
  • Control This is the second to last stage, where the dentist carries out final checks to ascertain if any tartar or plaque remains, and to determine the risk of cavities developing. And because such an intense cleaning has taken place, they decide if it is appropriate to apply fluoride for cavity prevention.
  • Recall This is the final stage of the GBT procedure, in which the dentist, together with the patient, establishes their next appointments for a simple check-up or for the reapplication of procedures that maintain the patient's oral health.
