Essa colpisce le strutture che sostengono il dente o che si trovano lungo l&#x27;arcata dentale: la gengiva, il legamento parodontale e l&#x27;osso alveolare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Quali sono i sintomi della malattia parodontale?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nNella fase iniziale si manifesta la gengivite, ovvero l\u2019infiammazione delle gengive, dopodich\u00e9 la malattia si estende alle strutture pi\u00f9 profonde. La gengivite si manifesta con sanguinamento durante lo spazzolamento o la masticazione e con un cambiamento di colore delle gengive, che assumono una tonalit\u00e0 rosso-violacea. Si avvertono inoltre una sensazione di tensione e prurito.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Come si sviluppa la malattia parodontale?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nA poco a poco, la gengiva si ritira, lasciando visibili le radici dei denti. Ci\u00f2 provoca la mobilit\u00e0 dei denti. Successivamente, i denti vengono espulsi spontaneamente dall\u2019arcata dentale senza che vi sia alcuna altra patologia.<br \/>\nQuali sono i fattori che influenzano l&#x27;insorgenza della malattia parodontale?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Igiene orale inadeguata<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Il tartaro<\/li>\n<li>Il fumo<\/li>\n<li>Carie non curate<\/li>\n<li>Problemi di occlusione<\/li>\n<li>Lo stress psico-emotivo<\/li>\n<li>Condizioni fisiologiche quali la pubert\u00e0 o la gravidanza<\/li>\n<li>Alcune malattie sistemiche, come il diabete mellito<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Quali sono le misure di prevenzione delle malattie parodontali?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nLa malattia viene trattata principalmente attraverso misure profilattiche quali:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Una buona igiene orale<\/li>\n<li>Rimozione periodica del tartaro e pulizia professionale dei denti<\/li>\n<li>Il trattamento tempestivo delle patologie dentali<\/li>\n<li>Il riequilibrio delle malattie generali attraverso una terapia farmacologica adeguata<\/li>\n<li>Riduzione o smettere di fumare<\/li>\n<li>Uno stile di vita equilibrato<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Come si cura la malattia parodontale?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La malattia viene curata con trattamenti odontoiatrici, accompagnati dalle misure profilattiche sopra indicate.
