We perform dental X-rays and 3D scans both for our own patients and for patients referred by other dentists.<\/p><p>The radiology laboratory is equipped with digital machinery, and the scan is carried out in the clinic, without the need for a separate appointment at another centre. The images go directly to the doctor who determines the diagnosis, which shortens the time until treatment begins.<\/p><h2>What imaging investigations are carried out<\/h2><ul><li><strong>3D CT scan (CBCT)<\/strong> 3D imaging of the jaw, necessary prior to an implant or a difficult extraction<\/li><li><strong>Orthopantomography<\/strong> \u2013 panoramic radiograph, showing all the teeth and both jaws in a single image<\/li><li><strong>telecephalography<\/strong> \u2013 lateral cephalometric radiograph, used in orthodontics<\/li><li><strong>Periapical radiograph<\/strong> \u2013 detail image of one or two teeth<\/li><li><strong>Bite-wing radiograph<\/strong> \u2013 shows tooth decay between the teeth, where it cannot be seen with the naked eye<\/li><li><strong>Bitewing panoramic<\/strong> \u2013 the same investigation, across the whole arch<\/li><li><strong>TMJ X-ray<\/strong> \u2013 for the temporomandibular joint<\/li><li><strong>Sinus X-ray<\/strong> \u2013 prior to interventions in the posterior maxilla<\/li><li><strong>Occlusal radiograph<\/strong> \u2013 overview image of an arch<\/li><li><strong>Wrist X-ray<\/strong> \u2013 for the assessment of bone age, in orthodontic treatment in children<\/li><\/ul><h2>I've come with a referral from another doctor.
